Cross country ski season has come to and end. It was a light winter for many - even here in the snow belt of the High Sierras we got only a fraction of the snow of a normal winter. Now that the ski center is closing we’ve had 2 feet of new snow - but conditions will be ungroomed. Time to pull out the backcountry skis!
The winter events at Tamarack went off successfully as well as the 5th annual winter biathlon. It took the whole community to put another biathlon on successfully, as well as the resources from the Mountain.
Here at Brian’s Bicycles and Cross Country skis our last day as a ski shop will be April 16th. From the 17th until probably around the 25th we’ll be switching our shop to bikes, and then we’ll be around for a week or two if you need your bike tuned up or are looking to get an early season ride in.
We’ll be taking some time off, but after Memorial Day we’ll be full speed ahead in the bike world.
