Kahtoola Running Snowshoe Review
If you are an avid runner, don’t let winter slow you down. The sport of winter snowshoe running has been increasing in popularity over the last few years. Kahtoola is one of the manufacuturers leading the way in winter running. Their RNR 22 winter snowshoe is lightweight and designed for running on hardpacked conditions.
What makes these running snowshoes different than the typical trail snowshoe is that they are shorter and lighter weight, since deeper snow penetration is less while running. The Kahtoola RNR snowshoe is tapered in the back and has a steep front nose to allow for ease of striding, and from keeping the front from digging into the snow.
